Meet the Dentists

Jeff Grim, DDS

Dr. Grim is a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry and is an alumnus of Washington State University. He continually refines and improves his skills through ongoing advanced training and continuing education, ensuring he offers the most current techniques in dental care. Dr. Grim is also committed to continuously upgrading the practice, incorporating the latest state-of-the-art equipment and modern approaches.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Grim enjoys spending his time with his wife and four children. They enjoy traveling as a family, spending time in Central Oregon, and attending college football games during the fall.

June Houser, DDS

General Dentist June Houser received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. As a native Oregonian, she did her post-bac Science curriculum at Portland State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Montana. Dr. Houser is committed to volunteerism and service to her local community and abroad. She participated in programs that provided free dentistry to underserved members in Portland and San Francisco. She also traveled to Jamaica to provide compassionate, free dental care to Jamaican communities with little to no access to dental care. Currently, Dr Houser is also a dental provider at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center in Hillsboro with a focus on providing comprehensive care to children and pregnant women. Dr. Houser is licensed by the Dental Board of Oregon, and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, the Multnomah Dental Society and Sunset Dental Study Club to learn new techniques and advancements in dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Houser enjoys fly-fishing, snowboarding, running, yoga and spending time with her husband, Sam.

Meet the Team

Brianna - Office Manager

Brianna has been the office manager at St. Helens Dental Care since 2022. She brings organization and positivity to the team and is passionate about creating a healthy work environment. Brianna enjoys coordinating schedules, managing patient care, and supporting our team. Her dedication and friendly attitude help create a welcoming atmosphere, making every day at the practice fulfilling and rewarding.

When she’s not busy working, Brianna loves spending time with her dog. She is also an avid reader and enjoys thrifting.

Tori - Insurance Coordinator

Tori is our insurance coordinator and comes to us with a vast knowledge of insurance with over 10 years of experience in the dental and medical field. Tori was raised here in Columbia County and now raises her two children here as well. She loves to travel with friends and spends her free time cheering on her kids at various sporting events or spending time with them outdoors. Together, they love camping, hunting, fishing, and boating.

Lydia - Scheduling Coordinator

Cheryl - Registered Dental Hygienist

Cheryl graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2007. She enjoys attending continuing education courses and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Oregon Dental Hygienists’ Association.

On weekends, Cheryl loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys backpacking, snowboarding, and camping.

Jenae - Registered Dental Hygienist

Jill - Registered Dental Hygienist

Jill was raised on a family ranch in Durkee, Oregon. She has an older brother, who is now operating the family ranch. Jill moved to the west side of Oregon to attend college at Pacific University, where she got her bachelor’s degree in biology. She then continued at Pacific for dental hygiene to complete her bachelor’s in dental science.

Jill met her husband at university, and they now reside in Scappoose with their two sons. When she’s not busy working, Jill enjoys skiing, waterskiing, riding horses, listening to country music, and reading.

Tracey H. - Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashley - Dental Assistant

Ashley graduated from Apollo College’s dental assisting program in 2008 and did further training at Penn Foster’s dental assisting program in 2023. She has worked on and off at St. Helens Dental Care for many years while raising her children. Outside of work, she loves to go camping with her husband, Eric, and their three kids, Leah, Ryder, and Karly. She also enjoys reading, shopping, walking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Leslie - Dental Assistant

Leslie graduated from Practical Dental Assisting of Oregon in 2023 and started at St. Helens Dental Care the same year. Leslie loves getting to know and working with our patients while making sure they are comfortable and well taken care of. She also loves being a part of our team. Outside of work, Leslie cherishes the time she spends with her husband, Chris, their two adult sons, daughter-in-law, and grandson. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and enjoying her chickens and goats.
